Political Ideology, Religious Beliefs, Bias, Hatred, and Obsession!

I thought about not posting this story today because of the wounding of a Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputy last night, but in re-thinking, because Ozzie will read this I decided to post it to get Knezovich thinking about what does not belong in law enforcement.

Using the wounding of a Deputy Sheriff doing his job should never ever be used as a justification to further a Political Ideology and try and justify what some consider outlandish public statements. You keep your damn mouth shut in the interest of the Deputy, the credibility of the Investigation, and the Public perception, until everything is complete and the FACTS are known.

When any of the above are a basis for a Cop’s decision making process, whether it be a lowly beat Cop, or the Leader of a Law Enforcement Agency things will always go wrong and someone will inevitably end up getting hurt.

Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich’s obsession with making every effort to marginalize and discredit individuals who disagree with him or point out the many mistakes he has made, may very well have gotten to the point of Hatred. His battle with people like Matt Shea, Ron Wright, Scott Maclay, Rob Lee, Dave Wiyrick, Brian Breen and others are very well documented throughout the press. I am reluctant to accuse anyone of actual Hate; however, the evidence is mounting that there is Hate in the heart of Sheriff Knezovich towards those that are not afraid to question his decisions, and even his integrity. I personally feel any reasonable person would have to conclude based upon his admissions to me that he was helping to fund Travis Pendell’s lawsuit against Shea and Maclay that Knezovich was the motivating factor behind the lawsuit, and not for any altruistic reasons. Spokane lawyer Doug Siddoway even points out the difficulties with pursuing a lawsuit against a public figure in this interview with Jeff Humphrey whose son is a Deputy Sheriff.

You might recall that Knezovich told me during his video attempt to prove me a liar back on February 1^st, 2017 that Pendell had sued Maclay, and we later found that the statement was not true and Pendell did not file a claim against Maclay or Shea until one month later.

How does all the fit into a story regarding Knezovich’s deposition in the Holyk case?

The answer is quite simple; Ozzie’s obsession with Maclay, Ron Wright, and Rob Lee rears its ugly head in his deposition, and as you can see from the images below Knezovich tries to link Holyk Lawyer Mike Maurer with Scott Maclay. Beyond that Knezovich specifically states that the reason “he” hired Orion, and Jarrod Carter who subsequently reached the conclusion that Bodman hit Holyk was because of Maclay, Wright, and Lee. I find that quite odd when you consider that Joe Harrington from the local US Attorney’s Office warned Frank Straub and Selby Smith of the Grant Frederick’s credibility issues.

I have decided to provide you with the complete Knezovich Deposition today rather than waiting and commenting on various portions individually. I made that decision based upon the wounding of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputy mentioned above and in hope that Knezovich will for once keep his nose out of the Spokane Regional Investigative Response Team Investigation, and not put another Deputy in the same position he put Bodman in.

This afternoon I received a copy of Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich’s deposition in the Ryan Holyk Case. It will take me some time to carefully go through it and once I’m done I will report on it, with comment.

 

Thus, far two things have become clear to me.

First and foremost, what I believed to be true from the beginning, and that is that Deputy Joe Bodman is a truthful honest cop, from an honest family who made a terrible mistake he will live with for the rest of his life is true, and his mistake won’t in any way prevent him from continuing to do the good job he loves as one of OUR Spokane County Deputy Sheriffs. As a retired Cop, I can’t help but think of the old proverb; “There, but for the grace of God, go I.” I’m sure other current and retired Cops would agree.

I became even more confident of what I would find when I read this Inlander Story.

 

Mike Mauer, the attorney for the Holyk family, says he decided to dismiss Bodman from the lawsuit after meeting privately with the deputy and his lawyer. Bodman “provided helpful information and confirmed important information,” Maurer says, but would not elaborate on the details.

Secondly, this statement is pure unadulterated BALONEY, for lack of a better term!

Knezovich said he would have preferred to go to trial rather than settle.

“I feel that this should have gone to trial because that is the only way the facts come out in totality,” he said. “I don’t make that call.”

No Police Department Administrator in their right mind would want to go to Court, get on the witness stand in public, and testify again under oath to what Knezovich testified to in the deposition.

I certainly understand your frustration, angst, and fear when a Citizen Journalist and member of the Media pulls back the curtain and exposes the truth. Your attacks on detractors and members of the media who write stories contrary to what you would like the Public to believe have become somewhat legendary around here. Certainly, your most recent expression of frustration with Pia Hallenberg of the Spokesman Review for not reporting everything you wanted reported is consistent with exactly how you approach publicity you feel is averse to you personally, and only adds credence to the feeling many individuals have that your interest isn’t in leading a law enforcement organization, rather a grandiose self-serving interest in trying to pursue a political career beyond that of a small county elected Sheriff. You did of course seriously give yourself away when you quickly jumped in the race when you thought the Cathy McMorris-Rodgers position in Congress was going to open.

I realize that me pointing out that the “Molon Labe” Pistol Grips you wore on the covered weapon you were armed with during your big Arena Media Production may have lost you some votes from the anti-gun crowd and some folks in the middle, but the facts are there you were showing them off for all to see right on camera.

Of course, more of those anti-gun folks and those in the middle, I’m sure are questioning as I type why in the world members of Oath Keepers, and the 63^rd Lightfoot Militia were acting as security for the “Spirit of America” rally you spoke at.

The mood was festive, but Wright said that armed members of the Oath Keepers and the 63rd Lightfoot Militia were there to provide security. “We believe in the Second Amendment,” she said. “Probably half the audience is packing.”

Another interesting factoid regarding the Oath Keepers group providing security at the “Spirit of America” rally is the comment made by the individual doing video of you at the Federal Building during your Bosworth fiasco stated “I am an Oath Keeper just so you know.” They also must be wondering if you have also infiltrated them along with the 63^rd Lightfoot Militia.

Anthony Bosworth (liberty for all) was arrested while opening carrying prior to our 10th Amendment Rally. Anthony had done nothing wrong and was later released. Sheriff Ozzie helped get free him.

I don’t know if you have realized it yet but your effort to prove me a liar might have really backfired for you as far as all your admitted backing of the Pendell v Matt Shea etal claim, instead of helping him like you admitted you were doing you easily could have hurt his lawsuit by reading Hine’s letter unfounding the IA Complainant Maclay made against you. The letter itself specifically shows that you folks don’t know to whom or when Pendell gave some guns back to Murray or for that matter apparently exactly what guns Pendell had in his possession other than the ones Hines reported, were there more that Pendell might have forgotten about, he did forget who he gave them to remember? Another thing the public doesn’t know is who the Licensed Firearms Dealer that received the weapons in Spokane was, could that dealer have been someone close to Pendell, Murray, or the SCSO? As we talked about the “When” might be important since the Murder took place on May 26^th, 2015, and of course during the on-camera discussion of I-594 we had brings up the question; Could it be that a transfer was in fact required? You might take note of my comments when you were reading the letter for the people that were going to view your Dog and Pony Show. Gee whiz Ozzie I was just trying to give you some leads, I wasn’t trying to trap you with my interview skills like you accused me of, with the lawsuit claim filed, as I suggested it might be a good time to revisit that IA Investigation you said took place.

In essence I guess, what I am saying here, among other things, is that a lot of voters are somewhat unclear on what your real position are and as you noted you have come out with videos claiming how dangerous these various groups are, yet for some reason you seem to somehow end up being “linked” to these groups. Of course, maybe you are “linked to them just like I’m “linked” to Scott Maclay… Who really knows?
