Conspicuously absent from this entire issue are Phil Tyler from the NAACP, and John Lemus from the Human Rights Commission… What say you two?

For those of us who knew Condon’s choice of Meidl would do nothing to change the CULTURE at SPD regardless of all the Dog and Pony Shows… the only thing left for us to say is… “WE TOLD YOU SO!”

By now in almost any other City the Chief of Police would be on his way out, but not in good ole Spokane where admitting a big mistake almost never happens, because it takes some Chazaq, which there isn’t a lot of around here. The Street Director is one thing but the Chief of Police? The option, which is right there and has been discussed in some circles, is open to the Mayor, and he knows it. An easy move with someone not ingrained in the Culture…  but no Chazaq… no doing the right thing!!!

If you are a Police Department Administrator, and have attended lots of media classes, as Ozzie told me he has, you know full well that when you know what will likely be perceived by some as “Bad Press” you want to hold a “Press Conference” and try and mitigate anything that might look bad. If you watched the Ozzie/Buff Episodes you will see after Ozzie told me about all his media management training I admitted that I hadn’t had a media management class since I was back on the job, several years ago, but that doesn’t mean I don’t remember the plays.

The press conference Ozzie held regarding the Holyk settlement on March 1^st, 2017, for example, which Nina Culver reported on the same evening and her story was “UPDATED: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1, 2017, 10:35 P.M.”

If you have a basket full of deplorable people detractors as Ozzie does and you can counter what could be “Bad Press” with what you think might help, it is good to try, and if you can to get that card in play. I don’t know if it is just simple coincidence but Nina Culver wrote her Pendell v Shea Story March 1^st, 2017 and it was “UPDATED: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1, 2017, 10:39 P.M.” just four minutes after the update of her Holyk story.

So, I must ask myself; “Just plain luck?” “Total Coincidence?” or “Educated Media Management?” darned if I know but interesting to me, I don’t know about you.

I also wonder should the Pendell v Shea etal case goes anywhere if the Shea, Maclay side will depose Nina Culver. That kind of brings back memories of an old case regarding former SR Reporter Jim DeFede who is now with CBS Miami.

Travis O Pendell did in fact file a claim against Matt Shea etal on March 1,2017 exactly one month after Ozzie told me Pendell had sued Maclay and was helping to raise money for Pendell’s “Dilemma”, also on the same day Nina Culver wrote her story regarding the claim which was “Updated Wednesday March 1, 2017, 10:39 PM”. Apparently, it hadn’t been entered when I made my call to the Courts.

The claim is scheduled for a Status Hearing on June 6^th, 2017 before Judge John Cooney. It will be interesting to see just how far Pendell’s claim goes, and the Discovery in the case if it gets anywhere should be real interesting, especially when you consider Ozzie told me that Pendell gave some of Murray’s weapons, unknown when, to some unknown friend of Murray’s, whom Pendell could not remember. I hope this is a serious claim, and not just a “Get The Dirt Out There Claim” so we can learn more about what transpired in the case.

 

 

ON ANOTHER NOTE!!!

I anticipate that I will receive a copy of Ozzie’s deposition in the Holyk Case sometime today and it will be interesting to see what Ozzie said under Oath, as opposed to what he said to me, so stay tuned.

I MEAN REALLY WEIRD???

Today I tried to log into my Buffalo Brian Breen Facebook page and received a message that for security purposes my page had been temporarily suspended. That’s the second time that has happened, last time someone, I think we all know who, complained that my page was phony, so I had to go through all the crap to prove it was me, including photos of ID etc. So, I figured it was just more of the same from some jerk, but what happened next is real weird.

 

When I tried to log in again using the same email or phone and password I used to get into my Buffalo Brian Breen Facebook Page guess where it took me!

 

Directly to Jeff Ware’s Facebook Page, where I could do anything I wanted to it if I was dishonest. Jeff Ware you might remember Is the one that brought Travis Pendell to speak Ware’s Open Carry of gun folks.
