If you really want to know why the case was settled, read Ozzie’s deposition, and see what Hines said in his. The question has to be is why is Knezovich protecting former SCSO Deputy Doug Marske, even to the point of trying to pursue criminal charges against Ron Wright and Dave Wiyrick in another case where they exposed Marske’s lack of veracity which was laughed out of the Prosecutor’s Office. Marske amazingly left the SO and is now a Marijuana Investigator for the State of Washington, which is another story in and of itself.
