After watching the above video of Bob West, trying to come to the aid of his daughter, City of Spokane Valley Council Member Brandi Peetz, at the June 3rd, 2018 Valley Council Meeting one of the first things that came to my mind, as a way of explanation for his behavior regarding his daughters run for office which actually cost him his job with the City of Spokane was something you often see in Sports.

But thinking about it Politics is a bit of Sport, so it only makes sense. What really doesn’t make sense is West’s public use of the terms “Blindsiding” and “Transparency” when you consider the lengthy investigation the City of Spokane did regarding his lack of transparency and of course electioneering for his daughter on the taxpayer’s time.

Glass houses, stones? The height of hypocrisy? Or just plain; “LIVING VICARIOUSLY THROUGH YOUR CHILDREN”?

Will Bob West run for office on his own next time?
