So how is the County’s “Independent Investigation” of the jail problems going, and who is Ozzie throwing under the bus… well for sure one is his long time right hand man… John McGrath. The question is will McGrath turn on Ozzie?

One thing I’ve noticed over the years, is when there is an Internal Investigation going on there is always a lot of AML (Administrative Memory Loss), and it is always someone else’s fault so being the helpful individual I am…I always like to help folks out. Who did sign those contracts and authorized the payments? Was it Phil Tyler, or John McGrath?

Since we taxpayers already paid a big chunk of change to Evans, Craven & Lackie to defend the lawsuit Phil Tyler brought against the County, I thought it might be a good idea to provide the current investigators with their witness lists…just to help and maybe cut some costs. The depositions taken in that case are very revealing especially the relationships between Libby Wagner employees Tyler and MaGrath. Ozzie’s deposition of course is filed with AML and he tries to paint all the Detention Sergeants as Racist, even though the facts show otherwise. He did slip up and revealed he did talk to legal about going after the whistleblowers, but they told him it would be retaliatory… imagine he would do something like that??? 😊

BTW, Ozzie said he didn’t know about Tyler’s Domestic Violence History, so he probably didn’t know about the Resisting Arrest Charge either…eh?

The resubmission of primarily the same Public Records Requests at the local level and FOIAs at the Federal level will provide a better picture, but it appears at this point that Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich’s attempts “under the color of law” to deal with Terrorist Scott Maclay have failed.

The big question of course is who is up next, since Ozzie has threatened other folks with charges, including me? Based upon his recent social media postings Caleb Collier may have taken over lead-off and I’m somewhere down in the batting order.

For those that aren’t aware there is a full-blown County HR Investigation going on regarding a lot of this stuff, an outside independent investigation would have been a lot better, but we will have to see where it goes from here, and what the Public Records ultimately reveal. One would hope that the folks doing the investigation would not only read copies of the Tyler, Knezovich, and McGrath depositions from Tyler’s lawsuit against the County, but also, among many other things, read the WSP reports on John W. Miller’s complaint against Tyler. I kind of wonder what KREM’s Jane McCarthy would have to say?
