THE INLANDER GETS IT THE SPOKESMAN REVIEW DOESN’T!!!

When I posted two earlier stories concerning the Garrity Rule and Mayor Condon invoking it, I made this statement.

“You may not see this reported anywhere else, but the Mayor sure needs to have some questions asked of him.”

I used the term “may” because it was easy to predict that even though the SR had all the info for a story they wouldn’t run it because they are in protection mode. I did however think the Inlander which has been pretty much on top of things may run a story because the story addresses a very important issue in a very high profile Spokane case.

The Inlander did run a good story and you can find it here:

As you can see from the Inlander story the Mayor and Brian Coddington are in the process of trying to figure out what to say and do. I’m sure they are trying to find a way out via the City Attorney…so like I said it will be interesting.

Will the SR run a story on this issue? Who knows? But now that the Inlander did they might so that they don’t continue to be embarrassed. The big problem for the SR Reporters is that they don’t have a clue about the Garrity Rule or what it means so they will have to try find an “expert”.

The SR does have a City Hall Reporter….Right????

I REPORT YOU DECIDE!!!!
