Another tip in doing backgrounds. Unless a court record is sealed by a judge, are records of a Special Inquiry Judge or Grand Jury they are public records and are available to the public. You quite often see court records posted in the media. Washington State has a court case search which anyone can use to get started on a back ground investigation. Once you have the court cases you can then obtain the records for the case from the listed court. One word of caution the online court case search does not always have all of the court cases for a particular individual and they are always slow getting them into the system. Always make sure to check the individuals Criminal History via the WSP as I noted earlier.
