For those that aren’t aware, another way to make things difficult for private citizens doing a FOIA is to claim Attorney-Client Privilege when there really isn’t one. We are still waiting for answers from Terry Pfister and our FOIA response from the City will very likely go beyond the election.

Just an update on where we stand with the Cotton/Straub/Spokesman Review FOIA request. For those that aren’t aware this is a typical method of attempting to scare private citizens into thinking their request will be costly and will take years to receive a respond.

This is a relatively easy and cheap method of obtaining Washington State Criminal History Records Information. The records are public information and you will often see then mentioned on media sites concerning individuals. I utilize it and you will be able to see some of those record here as we get more familiar with this blog site.
